Tomworld receives planning permission for an additional 9ha of glasshouses

Tomworld received planning permission on the 23rd August for an additional 9ha of glasshouse area at their Nazeing site. This follows permission for 3ha received in March 2012. EAS prepared the site layout, drainage design, Flood Risk Assessment, Transport Assessment and Earthworks Statement as part of the planning application and are now working on the detailed design with construction due to start next year. To deal with both an increase in surface water runoff and to meet the crop irrigation requirements by rainwater harvesting, a reservoir is planned and has been designed online casino to store up to a 1 in 100 year annual probability rainfall event, with climate change.
