EAS have provided continuous Transport and Highway consultancy services for this mixed-use scheme within the Temple Fortune centre in the popular Hampstead District, London.
The advice commenced at early Concept Design stage, continued with Local Authority Pre-application discussions (LB Barnet) and culminated with preparation of necessary transport documents securing planning permission.
The scheme involved the modernisation of the former Temple Fortune Medical Centre building in a desirable local centre into a replacement four-storey building, including a new 567sqm medical centre at ground level and 11 overlying homes of mixed size with a communal roof garden.
The accessible site allowed for a reduction in staff car parking and reallocation for family homes, thereby reducing the demand for commuting trips to and from the local area all in accordance with local and regional policy.
