A Flood Risk Assessment identifies any potential sources of flooding that may impact the site, details how best to mitigate the flood risk and ensures the risk is not being increased downstream or directed offsite. EAS has considerable experience in providing Flood Risk Assessments to inform feasibility studies, master-planning and support planning applications. All Flood Risk Assessments are produced in line with National and Local policies and where necessary we liaise with the Environment Agency and Lead Local Flood Authority. EAS work collaboratively with the project team whilst undertaking the Flood Risk Assessment providing recommendations and guidance. Post-planning EAS can also assist with applying for Environment Agency Flood Risk Activity Permits. EAS can also provide flood investigation services for existing drainage or flooding issues with one of our Engineers undertaking a site visit where needed. We would then report on the source of the existing issues and detail alleviation measures.
