EAS was commissioned by St Barnabas Church to assist with the relocation of the church from their historic location on Holden Road to a former office building on Finchley High Road. The work included a Transport Assessment and preparation of a Travel Plan for the relocation.
The transport work included a large amount of survey work to identify travel patterns at the extremely well attended Sunday services, as well as other activities taking place at the church such as toddler group and youth club, along with traffic counts and local parking surveys. EAS worked closely with the church and local highway authority to provide all the necessary background information and recommend solutions to ensure commitment to sustainable travel now and in the future.
EAS have also worked with a number of other religious organisations providing transportation and travel planning advice.
