Graduate Consultant
Heidi Brown
Heidi joined EAS in summer 2025 as a Graduate Consultant after completing a BSc Geography degree at the University of Hertfordshire.
During her degree, she took part in a field trip to Folkestone focused on coastal flood risk, management, and mitigation, where she completed a critical evaluation report based on her findings.
Since starting at EAS, Heidi has developed her skills within the Flood Risk and Drainage Team. She has worked on a range of commercial, industrial and compact residential sites, producing Flood Risk Assessments and SuDS strategies.
Heidi has experience using GIS software, including ArcGIS and QGIS, to model flood extents as part of her Flood Risk Assessments. She is also proficient in AutoCAD for preparing site-specific drainage designs, which she models using drainage modelling software.
She continues to expand her expertise in drainage design, having produced strategies for both planning applications and detailed design for construction.
Heidi is interested in flood risk management and sustainability and is skilled in preparing Flood Risk Assessments and SuDS strategies.
