The refurbishment of the former public house premises into a modern dining and leisure destination, as well as a flexible Class E unit and the development of 7 residential dwellings above.
This small scheme in this iconic part of North London has generated the intensification of use of the public house site to include 7 additional flatted dwellings above the existing pub as well as a new flexible Class E space. The public house was also refurbished as part of this process, and developed into a modern dining destination, including servicing facilities in line with modern site servicing requirements.
EAS’s involvement within this scheme was focused on providing highways advice in relation to servicing and delivery arrangements for both the pub and the new units. This scope of work evolved in the preparation of the full Delivery and Servicing Plan for the site, which will support the site management during the redeveloped site’s operations.
On street servicing arrangements were key in this highly developed urban area with very limited availability for servicing and storage of refuse. Numerous discussions regarding the arrangement of the servicing areas with the scheme architects ensured the final acceptability of the proposal.
Planning permission for the scheme was granted in July 2022.
