The LCWIP framework allows Councils to plan comprehensive walking and cycling networks, with a suite of schemes that can be implemented over time as funding becomes available, resulting in a complete network of active travel infrastructure.

EAS has assisted Councils in preparing LCWIPs, from liaison with a range of stakeholders to devising a convenient network and build local support; refining, costing and prioritisation of proposed schemes; through to preparation of the final report that integrates the Plan with existing policies and schemes.
