Whilst only a small project in unit numbers, this was a reasonably complex project requiring pre applications with both LB Newham and TfL, due to the site being adjacent to the A12 Blackwall Tunnel Approach (part of TLRN).
The scheme proposal was zero parking and involved amendment to the public realm layout adjacent to the A12 to improve pedestrian and cycle access.
Discussions were held with a car club provider and a space was incorporated into the public highway. This project was granted planning permission in 2020.
